Yellow Branch Falls sits in the Sumter National Forest near Walhalla and is one of the most accessible waterfall hikes in Oconee County. The trail follows Yellow Branch Creek through a beautiful cove hardwood forest before arriving at the base of a 50-foot cascade.
The path is well-maintained and relatively flat for the first half, with a gentle climb near the falls. The forest is gorgeous year-round but especially stunning in fall when the hardwoods turn gold and orange.
