FATS (Forks Area Trail System), Sumter National Forest

Level 3-4

IMBA Epic designation. 25+ miles of singletrack through rolling Piedmont forest. The destination ride in SC.

Harbison State Forest, Columbia

Level 2-3

18 miles of singletrack on the edge of the capital. Best urban mountain biking in the Midlands.

Paris Mountain State Park, Greenville

Level 2-3

Dedicated mountain bike trails with technical features in a compact, accessible park 15 minutes from downtown Greenville.

Croft State Park, Spartanburg

Level 2-3

Well-maintained singletrack through rolling forest with creek crossings. Less trafficked than Paris Mountain.

Dupont State Forest, NC border

Level 2-4

Just across the state line near Brevard. World-class trails with waterfall stops. Worth the drive from the Upstate.

30+ miles of multi-use trails through the Piedmont. Good for all skill levels.
