A 40-foot waterfall visible within 2 minutes of the parking area, plus 4 miles of river trails with swimming holes on the Chauga River. Great add-on for the Walhalla area.
Chau Ram County Park sits on the Chauga River in Oconee County and has a 40-foot waterfall right next to the parking area. You can see the falls within 2 minutes of getting out of your car. Beyond the main falls, the park has about 4 miles of trails following the Chauga River and Ramsey Creek through forested terrain. The trails pass additional smaller cascades and lead to swimming holes where the creek pools behind rock formations.
