Sesquicentennial State Park is a 1,400-acre park on the northeast edge of Columbia with a lake, hiking trails, a mountain bike trail, and a log house from the 1800s. It is the most accessible outdoor recreation option for Columbia residents and visitors. The lake offers fishing and paddling, and the trails loop through longleaf pine forest.
